About Child Perfume

The sensation that is CHILD Perfume was created by perfumer Susan D. Owens in 1989 as her own personal fragrance, but she knew she had made something extraordinary with irresistible appeal as both men and women regularly trailed her down the street begging to know what she was wearing. In 1990 Susan shared her creation with the world, maintaining her signature style of superb artisan craftsmanship, and over the years CHILD has become one of the most enduring fragrance success stories. An award-winning cult-favorite with a devoted celebrity following, CHILD Perfume remains a rare jewel for those in the know, and is coveted by fragrance lovers all over the globe.

At Child Perfume, our priority is to maintain the integrity of the original fragrance you know and love while ensuring it meets all current regulatory standards. This allows us to deliver a clean, safe, and beautiful product.

This beloved legacy fragrance was developed over 35 years ago. Since then, some ingredients used to create fragrances have undergone strict review to ensure safety and olfactive impact. Certain materials that were available when the original fragrance was created are now restricted or banned under 2026 regulations due to safety concerns for both the environment and skin. These have been replaced with thoroughly tested alternatives.

We have worked diligently to keep the soul of the fragrance as close as possible to its original design, updating it to meet all modern standards. We are incredibly grateful for your devotion to this fragrance and for your continued support.

Hand crafted excellence. Original and Authentic. The tradition continues...

Major Beauty magazines, InStyle, People, Vogue, Allure and Life&Style, tell a continuous story of Child perfume being known as “the perfume that is known to drive men wild.”
